Catering Insight – Hobart cuts prices on Ecomax cooking equipment

The move, applicable for the foreseeable future, is the latest in a series of supportive strategies from the manufacturer to help the hospitality industry after 12 months of uncertainty. The Ecomax brand is available exclusively through Hobart’s partner dealers – with the manufacturer hoping its price commitment will provide dealers with an exclusive selling solution for customers requiring high performance at lower prices.

The new prices apply to the entire range, which includes kitchens, ranges, fryers, grills, combi ovens, pasta cookers and salamanders.

Hobart has also included previously optional choices for its ovens, including humidity control, automatic washing, and internal multipoint probes, in its standard packaging.

Tim Bender, Sales Manager, Hobart Equipment Division, said: “After a very successful first fortnight for the outdoor hospitality industry, we are now looking towards mid-May for the full indoor restart.

“If initial interest and footfall are anything to say about it, it will be a busy summer. That’s why we encourage sites that may be using very old equipment or are considering a purchase to invest their money in something new, now. “

He added: “Of course, it is quite understandable that operators are more protective of capital, so our advice would be to consider the Ecomax range, alongside an interest-free financing deal (which now includes a payment holiday. 3 months) as the ideal “benefit-now-pay-later” restart package. “
