Catering Insight – Synergy Grill creates national accounts role

Synergy Grill Technology has appointed Steve Simmonds as National Account Director in what is a whole new role for the company.

Simmonds joins Synergy with 24 years of experience in the foodservice distribution industry, including 8 years in a role of Director of Business Development at Lockhart Catering Equipment, and most recently at Nisbets, where he worked as Country Account Director at over the past 10 years dealing with restaurant groups across the UK.

He commented: “Energy consumption and saving money are at the top of everyone’s agenda in the hospitality industry, and with Synergy the benefits are evident without substituting for the quality that the operators are waiting.

In a new staff update at Synergy, Ian Parsons has now left the company to focus more on his consulting business.
