Mooresville Pet Resort Raises Funds for Catering To Cats & Dogs | Local News

The fourth annual Valentine’s Day Swap Event at the Pampered Pets Inn was a huge success in February, generating over $2,500 in net proceeds for the local rescue Catering To Cats & Dogs.

During the exchange, customers had the opportunity to buy valentines for their dog’s best friends and take home the ones their dog received. Each valentine included a cookie and was wrapped by PPI staff with a Valentine’s Day card and ribbon.

All supplies have been donated by Pampered Pets Inn, so 100% of funds raised have been donated, where they will be used by Catering To Cats and Dogs’ for medical cases and care. All rescue cats and dogs are fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption because they put animal welfare first and do everything they can to ensure their cats and dogs are successful in their new House.

Karen Van Sickler, co-owner of Pampered Pets Inn, is thrilled to once again support Catering To Cats & Dogs through the charity event while celebrating all the friendships her guests have made.

“We have worked with Catering to Cats & Dogs for several years and appreciate their enthusiasm and dedication to animals who so desperately need a loving home. It is a pleasure to help them and we are extremely grateful for the support of our customers. Plus, honestly, it’s pretty darn cute to see the dogs coming home with their bag of valentines from their playgroup pals,” she said.
